Do you mind map?

Mind mapping is a fantastic technique I use when I want to get all my ideas out, vision forward and clear my brain so new ideas can come in. I am often fascinated that people are not aware of mind maps. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it, same goes for the teaching of it.
I'm a fan of paper rather then software when it comes to Mind mapping as will be demonstrated by the contrasting images below.

Do you know the technique? What do you use mind maps for?

Snow labyrinth

As promised here are some more photos of the snow labyrinth I created on the winter solstice during the phenomenal snow in December 2010.
I'm on the look out for opportunities to make a permanent land based piece in Ireland. In a private garden, OPW site, with plants, gravel, flags, etc. Also quite like the idea of some temporary ones made with very alternative art materials.

Film like dreams

Last night I had a dream which began like a film with me watching myself standing in a river facing up stream, the sense was as if resting after struggling up stream. I watched myself standing there and as I thought a bit. I was myself and I turned downstream. The energy of the river was much more intense but less consuming as I was 'going with the flow', then a boat appeared, I watched myself get in and floated off...
